Question: How can I participate in a vote? I can`t discover a button?
Answer: For Voting in our VoteEurope parliament, you must be registered as a parliamentarian. For all non-members the vote function is faded out.

Question: I am registered, but I can’t vote. How come?
Answer: The system is only able to recognize you when you are logged in with your username. After log-in the voting function and all the other Community-functions are at your disposal.
Each delegate has only one vote!

Question: How can I do the registration?
Answer: 1. Simply click on the Registration-button. 2. Subsequently, fill out the formular (the details of your profile is always changeable). 3. You will receive an email with a confirmation 4. Click on the link in the confirmation or copy this link in your browser-adress. 5. Log in and participate.

Question: What is the meaning of the “support” button?
Answer: The function is completely simple. The more delegates support a contributed speech the higher is it’s ranking. The most „supported “contributions are documented in a “protocol of parliament”.

Question: How can I give a speech to support my vote?
Answer: The „give a speech“-button allows you to make your contribution. Of course, it`s also possible to answer directly to a speech of another parliamentarian.

Question: How can I change my profile?
Answer: If you are logged in, simply click on your name (right column). Then click on your profile. On this page a sort of options are at your disposal: Change of your picture, profile details, password…

Question: I want to upload a photo. How can I do that?
Answer: Simply follow the instruction of the last question. Then click on „change picture”. Now you can search for a suitable picture (not too large!) on your computer’s hard disk (–> scan). Subsequently, upload the picture. It’s possible that you are requested to cut a picture, because it’s too large. Simpy draw the mask in the preview on the correct size.

Question: I want to upload my own information (text, pictures or videos). How can I do that?
Answer: Apart from your vote you find in the right column the section „information “. The materials uploaded from other parliamentarians are in the section „user contributions “. There you can choose between “text, picture, video”. If you click on an icon, you can upload or see the contributions of other parliamentarians.

Question: What is the difference between the menues subjects and background?
Answer: In the menues “subject” (top-navigation) and “background” (right column) we want to give a “starting-content” and to initiate the discussion in our Parliament. The process of building an opinion is of central importance to this website, so it’s of high interest that there are many contributions of our parliamentarians, because they are independent. You find them in the section “user contributions”. It is important to seperate them from our “starting-content” demonstrating transparency of the sources.

Question: How can I make a “call”?
Answer: In order to make a “call”, you have to use your own Twitter-Account. In the text (Tweet), you have to use the Hashtag #voteeurope. For example: „the #voteeurope parliamentarian X has a coffee stain on his tie.“ Our call-box shows all Tweets with the hashtag #voteeurope in it. More information: http://twitter.com/
